The Tommy Hilfiger lifestyle brand embraces “the new” and “the modern” and exudes a neo-preppiness while maintaining Tommy Hilfiger’s classic American cool styling.
Safilo’s new Tommy Hilfiger eyewear collection includes 11 ophthalmic frames in acetate, metal, and titanium; two women’s, seven men’s, and two unisex styles are in the lineup. Sunwear comes in acetate and metal and consists of three women’s and 12 men’s/unisex styles. The line is geared to women and men aged 25 to 40 who embrace the brand’s easygoing, relaxed attitude.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
The ophthalmic collection includes Style No. TH 1018, an acetate with a crisp vintage flair. A three-layer combination of red/blue/white, peach/brown, and dark havana is on the frame’s front. The Hilfiger name appears on the endpiece and the familiar flag logo is on the inside of the left temple tip.
Style No. TH 1025 is a rectangular-shaped stainless steel model featuring overlaid colors reproducing the classic Tommy Hilfiger stripes. It comes in combinations that include matte black with black/palladium/black temples and blue with blue/red/blue temples.
A large round, retro shape, Style No. TH 1033 has flex-hinged temples that show the “double T” metal motif and the Hilfiger logo on the endpiece.

Four aviator shapes in metal or acetate, four vintage-inspired silhouettes in acetate, three oversized acetate styles, two metals with a modern design, a metal shield, and a smaller, sporty acetate make up the sun styles. There are classic color combinations such as black and havana along with playful colors including red, pink, white, and blue.
Style No. TH 1985/S, a women’s acetate style that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Tommy Hilfiger brand, features a geometric vintage shape that was popular in the ‘80s. The Hilfiger flag appears on the left temple tip and the Hilfiger logo is printed near the endpiece. Colors include white with blue/red/white temples, blue with white/blue/red temples, pink with cream temples, and classic colors, such as black, dark havana, and khaki with dark havana temples.
Inspired by an American preppy heritage, Style No. TH 1006/S is a pilot-shaped metal aviator with a double bridge and a Hilfiger logo on the left lens. The temples employ a contrast between the slim shape of the metal endpiece and the eye-catching two-tone rubber temple tips.

GETTING THE WORD OUT
