Smith’s new ophthalmic collection for women and men focuses on fresh style, function, and fun.

Smith Optics’ energetic ophthalmic frames complement the active lifestyles of their users. By bringing the influence of sport heritage design into modern silhouettes, consumers can now express their passion for living life in their ophthalmic choices. This season, Smith introduces 10 new frame styles, including Darby, Ralston, and Hendrick; and 13 new color offerings in existing and bestselling models, like the Wainwright in horn. Taking cues from both urban and natural environments, Smith incorporates vibrant new colors like poppy, aqua, and fuchsia with on-trend hues and prints such as matte fatigue and floral, and a new horn motif.

Fashion-forward features in- clude an oversized acetate front with titanium temples for a perfect paradox of timeless design and avant-garde edge. For a more classic approach to mixed materials, several wire frames boast stainless steel eyewires with acetate temples for a subtle pop of color. Additional characteristics include silicone nosepads, spring hinges, and adjustable wire core temples in many styles to ensure all-day comfort.

To get the word out about these new models, Smith will be running ads in optical trade publications with famed moto sports athlete/rally car driver Travis Pastrana wearing frames from the collection. The company also has in-case displays and product-specific/custom visuals that highlight the line.

Designed for the active lifestyle consumer looking to make the great days better, Smith provides ECPs with a broad assortment of offerings that is sure to bring a variety of wearers into their optical shops.
