A new collaboration between Luxottica and photographer and blogger Scott Schuman highlights Schuman’s signature imagery and attention to people’s unique style, especially when it comes to eyewear. THE VISION COUNCIL REPORTS ON UV DANGER. In its report entitled A Lifetime of UV Eye Protection, The Vision Council provides details about the dangers of prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV rays when it comes to vision. It reveals that 46% of adults report that they only wear suns when it’s bright outside and many people are not aware of whether or not their sunwear even provides UV protection. Almost half the individuals surveyed were unaware that prolonged exposure to UV radiation can accelerate the onset of cataracts.
