Costa’s USA Limited Edition Collection Celebrates The Red, White and Blue

As the world prepares for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio next month, Costa has embraced all things American with its special collection of best-selling frames in the colors of the U.S. flag. “We’re celebrating a summer of USA fun, from Memorial Day to Fourth of July to the 2016 Summer Olympics,” said CEO Holly Rush, who started in her new role with the company in late spring. “Since Costa is made in the USA with global material, we felt that a USA Limited Edition product offering was a natural extension of who we are, where we are located and what we do.” Not to mention, it will bring a vibrant and spirited look to any dispensary.

The collection offers seven styles: Mag Bay, Cortex, Anaa, Blackfin, Fantail, Copra and Motu that each come in a specially designed blue and red case with stars on the inside that includes a C-MASK and cleaning cloth.

Like a collector’s item, limited editions give a sense of unique value-once they sell out, they’re gone. Costa is also selling three styles of T-shirts and hats in a red, white and blue theme to marry up with the USA Limited Edition sunglasses. The company is no stranger to rolling out limited editions; its highly successful Kenny Chesney partnership raised more than $80,000 for the Coastal Conservation Association.

Rush has already been swept up in Costa’s powerful commitment to conservation and its high-quality eyewear. “It’s been an incredibly exciting first few months on board. The passion for the Costa brand story and product is tangible-both inside our building and with our customers,” she expressed. “I’m excited to help spread Costa’s conservation message to a more broad audience. Few companies dedicate as many resources and have as much passion for protecting our ocean and other sustainable resources, as Costa.”
