OWP is a German company that prides itself on developing, producing, and distributing the highest-quality eyewear products. The company focuses on creating innovative solutions, not just eyewear. OWP’s ability to envision new things has led it to repeatedly achieve top technical and creative success. Its OWP COLLECTION blends European fashion with distinctive design.
OWP proudly says that every aspect of every OWP frame is carefully and deliberately crafted to maximize fashion, style, and wearability with a relentless dedication to overall quality. Every part of the process from pre-conception to finished product is given as much attention or importance as any other. Creative designers are encouraged and groomed to bring innovative design to the table. Frame production is managed the same way, with state-of-the art facilities that are able to adapt to new processes and design needs while maintaining a safe and environmentally aware workplace for the employees.
The OWP collection has distinctive European styling, which would be right at home on any frame board in the U.S. Current offerings include 45 women’s and 20 men’s ophthalmic styles, each showcased in multiple colors.
Women’s Style No. 1389 is a traditional full-rimmed metal chassis shape. It blends from a smooth front to the chassis end, where an open-weave pattern invoking a lacy coral plant-like design that continues down the temple. The Italian-crafted temples are highly flexible, and help produce a complete frame that is distinguished by its light weight.
Style No. 1392 frame is a metal, semi-rimless design for women with a smooth and simple chassis front and striking color combinations. The unique features of this frame are revealed at the temples that are etched with a unique three-dimensional pattern. Crafted in Italy, the temples are made of adjustable rubber that is injected with high-quality stainless steel. The rubber provides great flexibility, long-wearing comfort, and non-slip properties. Decorative touches include a metal logo plate, available in six colors, where the temple and chassis meet. Style No. 1393 is the full-rimmed version of Style No. 1392 and has all the same features and benefits of its semi-rimless counterpart.
For men, OWP has introduced two new models, Style Nos. 8593 and 8594. Both have masculine styling with a hint of architectural design. These frames use aluminum for its lightweight and durable properties. The temples have large, boxed open areas to hold fully adjustable and comfortable acetate temple tips with decorative and functional screws. The spring hinges are not mounted in the traditional fashion on the temple, but instead on the chassis, which allows for a sturdier mounting point and a greater range of motion. Style No. 8594 is the full-rimmed version of Style No. 8593, and has the same extraordinary, comfortable design features.
Celebrating more than 65 years in business, OWP has a market in 48 countries. You will not find their eyewear on U.S. Internet sites, being sold as close-outs, or offered in chains or big-box stores.
This company is committed to exclusivity, excellence, and responsiveness to its employees and customers.
