This year was no different, with companies competing for the most creative products in a host of categories. Glasses on a yacht store that trolls the Mediterranean? Funky readers on a necklace? A company that makes frames exclusively for petite faces? Temples that have inserts of Murano glass (wearers also get the same pattern in a pendant)? Eyewear made of natural horn and pewter? Bio-plastic in interchangeable temples? All this and more was in store for visitors to MIDO ’15 in Milan, Italy, the fashion capital of the world.
