Mondottica USA’s Pepe Jeans London Embraces All The Right Trends
Popular around the globe for several decades, Pepe Jeans London has its roots in denim and is now widely recognized as a lifestyle brand, incorporating apparel and footwear for women, men and teens. There’s even a cool customization feature for any Pepe Jeans London item, which has particular appeal to Millennials. Mondottica USA snagged the eyewear license in 2013, and the brand has proven to be number one for the company.
Fresh for spring/summer ’17, the new collection integrates striking colors and edgy silhouettes, made with the thinnest TR-90 material that keeps the frames lightweight and functional. Highlights comprise matte sandblasted crystals lined with vintage Union Jack prints or camouflage patterns located on the interior temples and gradient detailing on rich handmade acetates.
Each Pepe Jeans frame features a metal logo plaque, which is taken from the denim line. Additionally, denim inserts are incorporated in the acetate and rubber finishing with bright pops of color. The collection comprises 54 styles-35 for women and 19 for men-in addition to 17 models for kids.
The women’s collection offers an Urban Safari combo motif, and there are three models with a new take on tortoise; purple, red and blue make Style PJ3263 perfect for the hipster wearer. Style PJ3285 is a full-rimmed acetate with brilliant colors, and the round shape plays with blending a hint of tortoise with vivid tones. Style PJ3276 uses a rectangular shape with just a hint of angles to accentuate face dimensions. This full-rimmed look uses varieties of the same color throughout the front and temples to highlight the preferred color tone of choice.
A crisp, modern look in a large rectangular shape would describe the PJ3221, which has a uniform fit bridge. The PJ3261 brings the larger modified cat eye shape to the collection and offers a blending of the Pepe Jean denim patterns.
