iVIEWS CLOUD-BASED CO-MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
New modules for the iViews Imaging System help streamline the co-management of a patient’s eyecare and imaging by creating a central repository of diagnostic imaging and data from different sources, such as cameras, perimeters, OCTs, topographers and more. This allows ECPs to easily track referrals, share diagnostic reports, split technical and professional codes, and create virtual reading centers or remote screening centers to review images and data. 727.734.8393, iviewsimaging.com.

vRxID FROM QUUXX
This new service removes identifying information from patient’s prescriptions so they can be shared with labs and manufacturers, among others, without violating HIPAA regulations. Quuxx protects data in the cloud by removing personal health information when doing business with third-party suppliers and manufacturers. A unique identifier (called the vRxID) is assigned to the patient to track their prescription. This minimizes identity and healthcare information data loss. The company plans to follow up with a vRxID Solution Suite. In the meantime, ECPs can register on the Vision Provider Network ECP locator. 469.307.5169, quuxx.com, info@quuxx.com.
HELP ME SEE APP
Community-based mobilization is a critical component to the success of HelpMeSee’s mission of eliminating cataract blindness. The campaign’s recently launched smartphone app, the HelpMeSee Reach, allows locally trained workers to locate patients in remote areas and upload their information to a cloud-based system. The app allows data to be entered without Internet access. GPS technology then pinpoints the closest partner/provider so the community health worker can schedule, screen and select patients and services as well as facilitate post-surgical follow-up. 844.HelpMeSee, helpmesee.org.
