Established in September 2000, First Vision Media Group is a health care communications company based in Northern New Jersey. Our primary emphasis is to provide product intelligence and continuing education information on vision care and the professionals, manufacturers, and distributors that serve this community. First Vision Media Group publishes magazines, supplements, and custom print products for these markets, and hosts a suite of electronic products such as Web sites, e-mail newsletters, and Internet-based education.

Our Products

Vision Care Product News.

The flagship publication of First Vision Media Group, Vision Care Products News is a tabloid magazine exclusively dedicated to bringing product information to the optical and ophthalmic communities. Each issue brings an array of articles on product applications and uses, reviews and closeups, and new product introductions. Written primarily by eyecare professionals for their peers, Vision Care Product News is published monthly and reaches over 37,000 vision care professionals.

Optical Lab Products.

Introduced in 2002, Optical Lab Products is a bi-monthly companion publication to Vision Care Product News, serving the optical laboratory community. Articles deal with new technologies, lab procedures and operations, and new lab products. Optical Lab Products is distributed to 3,000 surfacing laboratory executives and personnel.

Optometric Office.

Offers optometrists pertinent information about the products that serve them in their practice. Produced nine times a year, the publication discusses product features, benefits, and applications for such topics as contact lenses, diagnostic equipment, therapeutics, and technology—all in a user-friendly format.

e-Newsletters.

First Vision Media Group has a host of e-newsletters that are sent to optical professionals and are also available online. VCPN Insider and Optometric Office Insider provide weekly updates on new products and technology for the market. LabMail is targeted with news and information specifically for the U.S. optical laboratory market.
